The Affordable Decor Philosophy

No matter the income, no matter the house, condo or apartment size, everyone deserves a beautiful home. As a decorator, I want your home to reflect who you are, not me. And, what makes your home beautiful is how it makes you feel when you walk in. It should make you smile.

If you have the budget and desire to buy new furniture, or get custom window treatments, flooring, etc., well then won't we have as much fun. But you will be amazed at how much can be done with relatively little money, a lot of imagination and, sometimes, old fashioned elbow grease.

In my years of decorating, I have learned that many people do not makes changes in their home décor, or even have a home décor, because of what I call the Fear Factor.

• Fear #1 – What if I make a mistake?  What if I spend a lot of money and I still don’t like it?

• Fear #2 – I don’t know where to start.

• Fear #3 – It will start World War III in my home. My spouse and I have totally different tastes and each time we try to start, we end up fighting and get nowhere.

• And the Big One…

Fear #4 – Decorator Phobia! I am afraid to call a decorator because they cost too much money, will spend too much money and my home will not look like my own or even a place where “real people” live.

While these are legitimate fears, I am here to help you overcome all of them…even the dreaded Decorator Phobia.
